I am Lyanne: Founder, builder and storyteller.

Growing up in a working class Latino neighborhood, I saw first builders everywhere. But we were absent US national headlines when I worked in these newsrooms. I set out to change that.

Via Moneda Moves, we share stories about money and cultura via our newsletter and podcast. I also work with leaders at scalable companies to craft their stories and prepare for interviews with the press.

I’ve built my career as a reporter and producer at CNBC, Business Insider, NBC Latino, where I doubled down to learn the industry and increase headlines about BIPOC. As content director at Nasdaq, I helped companies going public share their stories via the stock exchange's multimedia channels.

By day, I’m a Developer Relations Program Manager at Google, overseeing content strategy for developer stories across social platforms.

Through my career as a multimedia producer, strategist and founder of Moneda Moves, I’ve had the pleasure of speaking at the likes of Google, Block, Luminary and Adidas. I’ve been also named NextAdvisor’s Most Influential New Voices of Money, NextGen Collective’s 30 Under 30 and NYC Fintech Women’s Inspiring Females.

My Values

Community

First builders, as the name implies, are the first to create wealth and a legacy for generations to come. Having a community of other first builders we can connect with, and share our stories, plus how we've navigated challenges helps.

Rewriting

There is power in rewriting our narrative about money to believe we are capable of being financially powerful. There is also power in sharing our stories in business spaces where Latinos are not traditionally represented.

Empowerment

We share stories, community and provide storytelling tools with the end goal to empower our first builders to create legacy and generational wealth.
